Very long, but memorable week. We passed some bills leveling the playing field for labor, welcomed a Metal of Honor winner, started allocating funds for '12 budgets and found out we are now confirmed to have a visit to Boise by the Chairman JCS the first part of April. Worked late into the afternoon trying to find good alternatives over doing away with the Dyed Fuel program in Idaho as recommended by the Gov's Transportation Task-force. It's good to have so many experts coming to the table with suggestions.

Idaho parents need to consider this question before getting wound up about the proposed Education changes: If the Legislature today provides funding for 18.2 students per class but actual class size is MUCH higher, where is that money going and why? Would you be willing to increase the funding formula to something higher while changing the process of how those funds are used to be able to bring the ACTUAL class size down?
