H 546 ‐ Creates the Global Entrepreneurial Mission Grant Fund and transforms the Idaho Innovation Council at the Department of Commerce to the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council. The intent of IGEM is to leverage private‐industry guidance and the talent and expertise of Idaho’s research universities to commercialize innovative and viable technologies that will strengthen Idaho’s economy. IGEM provides the tool that will enable us to leverage Idaho's Intellectual Property (IP) that has been developed in our Colleges and Universities for Idaho business and to attract new business (read "JOBs") to our state!
