Had a wonderful "meeting" with Stan and Eileen (Hagedorn) Smith from Eagle for a couple hours yesterday. Great people from CO loving ID and worried about where we are going. Dr. Smith taught at NM State for 40 years and is very pleased with Idaho's education direction and believes there's room to expand many of the new K-12 concepts into higher education as well!

Thanks to the Boise Metro Chamber for a great lunch and guest speaker! Gov Otter understands lower taxes combined with fewer, more effective and consistent State, County and City regulations means increased employment! Idaho's unemployment rate has dropped once more because we have sent a clear message to businesses in Idaho and other states that "Idaho is open for business!" and we intend to continue that trend!
